Since 2012, NiSHA has made the most of our 700 square foot rental space, but the animals need roomier, brighter, more hygienic spaces to live comfortably while they await their new homes. It’s time for a home of our own.
Our new animal resource center will connect more displaced animals with loving homes and support the pets in families who are experiencing difficult times. The new space will allow us to educate more children, serve more seniors with pets in need, and touch the lives of thousands of our Nantucket neighbors.

Naming Opportunities
A gift to NiSHA’s Beyond Rescue capital campaign will impact thousands of animals and people each year, and help create a community that cares for every animal in need. Your naming gift allows us to publicly acknowledge your generosity. You may also use a naming gift to honor a family member, beloved animal or friend.
If you wish to make a named gift, please contact Jessica Castineiras.
